Pray4theprey827 LLC is dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities through comprehensive youth empowerment initiatives rooted in lived experience and advocacy.

Our founder’s son, Jojo, was set up and lured outside by teenagers who had gained access to a firearm without a permit, training, or accountability. They had robbed someone the first day they obtained the gun. By the third day, Jojo was gone. One young man received a 20-year sentence. The other, who purchased the firearm and helped set up the robbery, received no time for Jojo’s death. In the courtroom, our founder chose to forgive the shooter. That moment changed the direction of her life. The founder pursued a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, specializing in Homeland Security and Crisis Management, building on a decorated career serving in public health, mental health, and spiritual leadership. This foundation led into deeper advocacy work with a comprehensive understanding of the systems that had failed our youth. The founder also joined Moms Demand Action and Everytown for Gun Safety, standing alongside survivors from Sandy Hook, Columbine, and communities across the nation impacted by gun violence. Pursuing workshops and training offered by the Department of Justice, the founder strengthened advocacy efforts for youth prevention programs and safer pathways for violence-affected communities.

We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to develop leadership skills, build resilience, and contribute positively to their communities. Our mission is to reduce conflict, prevent violence, and create pathways for youth to thrive in safer, more supportive environments.

We accomplish this through evidence-based programs that combine leadership development, violence prevention education, safety skills training, and community advocacy—challenging the policies and systems that have failed our youth while empowering them with the tools and support they need to build better futures.

This work is not just about what happened to our founder’s family—it’s about ensuring it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
